Alex GauldManager SBC GrampianScottish Business in the CommunityBorn and brought up in Macduff, when Alex left school 'many moons ago', he joined the Civil Service taking up a post in London. Later moving to Edinburgh, Alex worked in the statistics, finance, training and HR fields. Still in the Civil Service he then moved to Aberdeen where he was responsible for the payment of social security benefits for Aberdeen city and shire. In March 2003 Alex joined Scottish Business in the Community, at first on secondment but then in 2006 became a member of their staff working on a part time basis. Married with two sons; one who is a chef in Hatfield, while the other works in the Oil and Gas industry in Aberdeen, Alex and his wife enjoy ballroom dancing and are members of The National Trust for Scotland. He also sits on the board of Castlegate Arts Limited - the Aberdeen Arts Centre. |
